Austin Townhall Conservatives are honored for the ongoing relationship between our group and this active group of young conservatives. Warning: Their enthusiasm and energy are contagious!

As you know... last year YCT had several events that landed our members on shows such as: the O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC, Nightline, the Washington Times, etc. To continue in that tradition... we have even BIGGER, and even BETTER events planned for this year. I am looking for some good men and women (which I know is all of you) to help us out with these events... here are a few that we are starting to plan now:
  • Conservative Coming Out Day
  • Pro-Life Rally
  • Rally for the Troops
  • Lobbying for Students for Academic Freedom
  • Lobbying Against Tuition Deregulation
  • YCT Scholarship
  • Canned Food Drive Competition with the UDems
These are just a few of the spectacular events that we need your help with. If you are interested in participating with the planning of any of these... please email me back ASAP and we will get you in the loop with preparations.

New Book Released

Brendan Steinhauser, a member of The Young Conservatives of Texas, has recently announced the publication of his book, The Conservative Revolution: How to Win the Battle for College Campuses. The book is a how-to guide for conservative students who want to build powerful political groups on their respective college campuses. It provides detailed advice on how to recruit members, raise money, lobby the legislature and gain massive media exposure.
